This Privacy Policy explains how Genxtrim LLC ("GenXtrim", "we", "us") processes personal data in connection with the GenXtrim websites, applications and services (the "Service"). It applies to visitors, account holders and the people whose data our customers submit. For the contractual terms, see our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, organization, password (stored hashed), and role.
Billing data: your plan and subscription status. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not store full card numbers.
Customer Data you submit: brand and product details, URLs, competitors, target markets, and the prompts you create for monitoring.
Generated data: AI provider responses and the metrics, citations and reports we derive from them.
Usage & technical data: log data, device/browser information, IP address, and product usage events used to operate, secure and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

We use personal data to: provide and maintain the Service; authenticate accounts; process subscriptions and payments; run monitoring and generate reports; send service and account emails; provide support; detect, prevent and address security or abuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service.

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you request); legitimate interests (to secure, operate and improve the Service); consent (where required, e.g. certain communications); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers ("subprocessors") who help us run the Service, under appropriate safeguards, including:

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety and security of GenXtrim, our customers and the public, and in connection with a business transfer.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. You can request deletion as described below; some records (e.g. invoices) may be retained where law requires.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

We process data on infrastructure located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK or other regions, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If we process data on behalf of a customer (as a processor), we will refer your request to that customer.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in) and, where applicable, to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may affect functionality.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
